Our Commitment

Cresthill Academy is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive environment for every child and family. We operate licensed daycare and preschool programs serving children ages 6 weeks through kindergarten readiness at locations in Hoboken, Harrison, East Hanover, Lyndhurst, Paramus, and Parsippany, New Jersey.

Policy Statement

Cresthill Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, creed, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, age, familial status, genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state, or local law. This policy applies to all aspects of our operations, including but not limited to enrollment and admissions, program participation and access to services, employment and hiring practices, and interactions with families, staff, and the public.

Legal Compliance

Cresthill Academy maintains compliance with applicable anti-discrimination laws, including:

  • New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD) — one of the most comprehensive civil rights statutes in the nation, prohibiting discrimination in places of public accommodation and employment.
  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 — prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs receiving federal financial assistance.
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — ensuring equal access and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
  • Other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Reasonable Accommodations

Cresthill Academy will make reasonable accommodations for children and families with disabilities, in accordance with applicable law, to ensure equal access to our programs and services. If your child requires accommodations, please speak with your location director or contact us so we can work together to find solutions.

Filing a Complaint or Concern

If you believe you or your child has experienced discrimination by any Cresthill Academy employee, contractor, or representative, we encourage you to report the matter promptly. You may file a complaint in any of the following ways:

  • Speak directly with the director at your child's location.
  • Submit a written complaint by email to [email protected] with the subject line "Discrimination Complaint."

All complaints will be reviewed promptly, investigated thoroughly, and handled with discretion. Cresthill Academy prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports a concern or participates in an investigation in good faith.

You also have the right to file a complaint with external agencies, including the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights.
